Location: Salvador de Bahia, Brazil.
- To give visibility to the social, cultural and economic contributions done by African Descent people to Latin America.
- Highlight inclusive public policies and good practices, as well as to discuss strategies for social inclusion of people of African Descent in different national contexts and their contributions to development.
- Produce a statement pointing out a common agenda for the next 10 years, that contributes to a full inclusion of millions of citizens of African Descent.
Participants of the meeting: National States, Heads of State (Latin American, African and Caribbean), representatives of parliaments, local authorities, international organizations, representatives of social movements, artists, intellectuals and social leaders.
